She was predeceased by: her parents, Inez Hutchings and Edward R. Hutchings; her sister Ann Serber; and her grandson Harrison Hooks. She is survived by: her husband Robert Hooks Jr.; her children, Helen Shoptaw (Jim), Bill Hooks (Deren) and Martha Ann Lord (Rob); and her grandchildren, James Shoptaw, Robert Shoptaw, Samuel Shoptaw, William Shoptaw, Rachel Lord, Keegan Chilvers, Brayton Hooks, Thomas Chilvers, Adeline Hooks, RJ Lord, Barrett Chilvers and Sonny Lord.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Riverside Cemetery (1301 Riverside Dr, Macon, GA 31201).
