She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Sam Phillips and Emma Lea Taylor Phillips; her husband Bert Michael, Sr.; and her siblings, Alva S. Phillips (Bud) and Cornelia Phillips Wall.

She is survived by: her nieces, Diane Phillips Jones (Charlie) of Atlanta, Pam Phillips Blackstone (Bill) of Indialantic and Susan Wall Bates of Fort Mill; and her stepchildren, Bert Michael, Jr. (Evelyn) of Carrollton, Sanna Michael Smith (Jimmy) of Bluffton and Jordan Michael (Mary Lynn) of Macon. She is also survived by several grandchildren; great grandchildren; great nieces; and great nephews.
