She was predeceased by: her parents, James T Hester, Sr. and Eunice Allene Turner Hester (Battle); her son Mark Yarn; her siblings, Virginia Hortman, Juanita McKinney, James Hester, Jr. and LeGrand Hester; and her children, Connie Olsen (Roger), Laura Longhurst (Alan) and Roger Yarn (Juanita).
She is survived by: her sister Diane Hester McCallum. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Fairhaven Funeral Home (4989 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens (7070 Houston Rd, Macon, GA 31216).
