She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oscar Dye and Georgia Carroll Dye; her husbands, Wilburn M. Rose and Walter C. Massey, Sr.; her son Walter C. Massey, Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Janet Lynne Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy McCarthy (Gary), Steve Rose, David Rose (Barbara) and Michael Rose (Stephanie). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks that donations be made to Macon E. Church or St. Jude's Research Hospital in Mrs. Connies honor.
