He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Bradshaw Vance and George Thornton Vance; and his siblings, David Vance and Elaine Vance. He is survived by: his wife Cyndie Lane Vance; his children, Chris Vance (Emily) of Savannah, GA, Beth Richardson (Nick) of St. Simons Island, GA and John Vance (Amy) of Tampa, FL.; and his grandchildren, Katy Lane Richardson, Liz Richardson, Banks Vance, Sunny Richardson, Gracen Vance, Fisher Vance, Clara Vance and Ellie Vance.
