He was predeceased by: his father James Landrell Abbott; and his nephew Kevin Abbott. He is survived by: his wife Sue Colwell Abbott of Macon; his children, Amberly Peschel (Erich) of Greenville and Austin Abbott (Kyndal) of Forsyth, Georgia; his grandchildren, Hannah, Kipton Peschel and Amelia Charles Abbott; his mother Ann Abbott of Jackson, Georgia; and his brother Rick Abbott (Alma) of Jackson.
