She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Wayne Bennett, Sr.; her son Douglas Wayne Bennett, Jr.; and her father Charles Arthur Edwards, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Lloyd Bennett of Macon; her grandchild Logan Bennett-Chastain (Wesley) of Jones County; her great grandchild Kaden Chastain; her mother Bannie Edwards; her siblings, Charlotte Worsham (Steve) of Juliette, Diane Phillips (Steve) of Macon and Paul Edwards of Athens, Georgia; and her sister-in-law Bobbie Saffold (Bill) of Macon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
