She was predeceased by: her siblings, Byrd, Jr., Elizabeth Haines, Dorothy Collier and Margaret Marchant. She is survived by: her parents, John C. Byrd, Sr. and Neoma Wood Byrd; her sister Lois Hagood; her sister-in-law Eloise Larmore; and her daughters, Shella Byrd (Stephen) and Tina Housman.
