With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Joyce Hendrix Johnson in Macon, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Hendrix and Dolly Peacock Hendrix; her husband Jim Henry Johnson; her children, Shelia Johnson Loyd and Graylin Johnson; her grandson Brian Loyd; and her sister Barbara Scarbrough.
She is survived by: her children, Lynette Bivins and Earnest "Ernie" Johnson; her sister Joann Peacock Lehnert; and her grandchildren, Jason Loyd (Tiffani), Mitch Johnson (Casey), Tosha Mane (Kayla), Robbie Sinyard, Deanna Davis, Andrea Trevino (Abel) and Heather Brantley (Kyle).
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Salem Baptist Church (115 Emergency Rd 450R, Chester, GA 31014). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
