She was predeceased by: her parents, George B. Collins, Jr. and Janie Eppinger Collins; her husband Joseph Norman Benge, Sr.; and her brother Michael Eugene Collins. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Benge, Jr. and Tammy Obenauf (Neil); her grandchildren, Jason Benge, Leanna Gilpin (Colby), Jonathan Obenauf (Caterina) and Benjamin Obenauf; her great grandchildren, Alivia Campbell and McKenna Kay Benge; and her brothers, George Branan Collins, III (Judy) and Joseph Phillip Collins (Kathy).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fairhaven Funeral Home (4989 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home (4989 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216). A burial will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens (7070 Houston Rd, Macon, GA 31216).
