It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allene Bray in Macon, Georgia, born in Lockhart, Texas, who passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Starr and Freida Fischer Starr; her husband Morgan Mitchell Bray; and her son Charles Wallace Bray. She is survived by: her daughter Fay Barfield of Perry; her grandchildren, Chad Moate and Dena McAtee; and her great grandchildren, Chasady "Chassy" Moate, Breanna McAtee and Justin Singleton. She is also survived by two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
