The passing of Alexander Boag Erskine Jr. of Macon, Georgia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Boag Erskine, Sr. and Myra Weinhofer Erskine; his wife Mary Jo Wilkins Erskine; and his brother John Erskine. He is survived by: his daughters, Deanna Nelsen (Paul) of Lizella, Georgia and Donna Erskine (Michael Cwilichoski) of Shelton, Connecticut; his grandsons, Alexander Nelsen and Daniel Nelsen; his sister Betty Yanik of Chattanooga, Tennessee.; and his stepchildren, Clay Wilkins (Lorri), David Wilkins (Nancy), Jeff Wilkins (Alisha) and Lisha Wilkins (Dan). He is also survived by nine step-grandchildren, and several step-grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Barrancas National Cemetery (1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508).
