He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cobb Strozier, Sr. and Bessie Eunice Melton Strozier; his wife Maudie F. Strozier; his daughter Nancy Kyte; his grandchildren, Bobbie Jean Moore and Wendy April Allen; and his siblings, Bessie Strozier Johnson, Dr. Leigh M. Strozier and Robert Strozier Jr. (Alice).
He is survived by: his children, Alex Melton Strozier, Jr. (Paula) of Macon, Anita Strozier Vause (Dave) of Columbia and Paul Andrew Strozier (Mariann) of Ohio; his son-in-law Walter Kyte of Forsyth; and his grandchildren, Alex Melton Strozier, III, Troy Strozier, Rachel Wynn (Kyle), Travis Kyte (Lindsey), David Nicholas Vause (Bethany), Mallory Elliott and Paul Andrew Strozier, Jr. (Amy). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
