He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Cortes and Winnie Cortes; and his brother David Cortes. He is survived by: his children, Alan Cortes, Jr. and Amy Cortes Gilpin; his siblings, Kenny Cortes (Janice), Richard Cortes, Sandy Corley (Morgan), Stevie Cortes (Trisha) and Glen Cortes (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Cason Gilpin, Abriana Cortes and Tyler Cortes. He is also survived by loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
