He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Fry and Lisa Crockett Fry; and his brothers, Dennis, Howard, James, Herman, Jennings and Arnold Fry.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Gilliam Fry of Macon, Georgia; his children, Lisa Gugino (John) of Jackson, Georgia, Bernie Fry (Susan) of Macon, Georgia and Scott Fry (Maricha) of Macon, Georgia; his grandchildren, Ben Henderson (Whitney) of McDonough, Abby McDonald (Scottie) of Woodstock, Christy Rogers (Brad) of Forsyth, Elizabeth Hickman (Justin) of Forsyth, Mary Francis Carroll (Brent) of Madison, Harrison Fry of Marietta and Hayes Fry of Macon, Georgia; and his sister Ernestine Adkins of Huntington. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christian Gathering Place Church, 6038 GA-42 North, Forsyth, GA 31029.
