It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sionnie Velarde Gernaat of Mableton, Georgia, who passed away on June 9, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Gualberto Planas and Pacita Velarde. She is survived by: her husband John L. Gernaat; her siblings, Melody Planas and Johnny Planas; and her stepsiblings, Judith Planas, Victor Planas and Rene Planas. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews; an aunt and uncle; and many dear friends.
Due to COVID-19 and CDC directions, all visitors will be required to wear a face mask (please bring one with you) and follow social distancing.
