She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Thruston and Fannie Thruston; and her brother Alfred Thruston Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Bill Stipe; her daughters, Julie Echols (Steve) of Canton, Diane Stipe McClanahan (Bill) of Canton and Janet Stipe Voyles (Tommy) of Douglasville; her grandchildren, Joy, Jeremy, Christopher, Erin, Lindsay and Brian; and her great grandchildren, Aria, Carter, Eli, Cole and Emma. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
