It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan M. Smith (Mableton, Georgia), who passed away on June 9, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, David McKendrick and Vera McKendrick; her children, David Smith of Mableton, GA, Kayla Smith Abercrombie of Doraville, GA, Buster and Paul; her grandchildren, Mat, Trudy, Ford Smith and Isley Smith; and her great grandchildren, Tay Cain, Chyna Cain, Akhim Cain and Mason Smith.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer foundation, and the St. Teresa Episcopal Church.
