While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cheryl Taylor Black; and his sons, Chris, Tim, Stephen and Jon. He was also cherished by his sons, four daughter-in-laws, and ten grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davis-Struempf Funeral Home (1975 East-West Connector, Austell, GA 30106). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Davis-Struempf Chapel (1975 East-West Connector, Austell, GA 30106). A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:15 AM. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery (Veterans Cemetery Rd, Georgia 30114).
