It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Nixon (Mableton, Georgia), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Diana Lee Nixon. He is survived by: his wife Monifa Nixon; his children, Patrick Bennett, Tatiana Nixon and Jasmine Nixon; his grandchildren, Angel Bennett and Christian Bennett; his parents-in-law, Theordis of Washington and Carolyn of Washington; his aunts, Mary Campbell and Patricia Nixon; and his uncle Phillip Crum (Vernette).
In 2020, David was honored by the Northside Cancer Foundation and the Atlanta Braves for being a cancer survivor.
