With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn L. Rogers of Mableton, Georgia, born in Cartersville, Georgia, who passed away on September 11, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jackie Thomason and Gene Thomason; her sister Ima Gene Shaw; her daughter Ronda Parris; and her grandson Clifton Parris.

She is survived by: her husband Larry C. Rogers; her children, Erica Morris (Andy) and Mitchell Story; and her brother Jimmy Thompson. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
