She was predeceased by: her husband Louie Eugene Porter; her mother Verby Cox Ashingback Nix; her stepfather Bill Nix; her father Charlie Ashingback; and her son Eddie Berryhill, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Graham Thomison, Lamar Porter and Charles E. Porter; her grandchildren, Melissa Verby Williams, Brandy Butler [Jonathan] Pena of Texas and Lindsey Porter [Omar] Choudhary of South Carolina; her stepgranddaughter Chrystal Thomison Homer; her great grandchildren, Lane Williams, Nichole Wallace, Asher Pena and Azaria Woodley; her sister Mary Sue Ashingback Fisher; and her children, Chuck and Cassie Fisher.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Roy Davis Funeral Home (5935 Mulberry St, Austell, GA 30168).
