He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hubert Flowe and Maude Biggers Flowe; his wife Dorothy Bell Flowe; his son Lock Flowe; and his grandson Ben Gurley.
He is survived by: his children, Benjamin "Benjie" Hugh Flowe, Jr. (Margaret "Peg") and Sally Flowe Aberle (Tom); his daughter-in-law Judith Flowe; his grandchildren, Samantha "Sammie" Kathleen Connor Flowe, Andrew Benjamin Connor Flowe, Jane Aaronson Mahoney, Daniel Thomas Mahoney, Paris Flowe Lopez (Alex) and John Locklin Flowe, Jr.; his great grandchild Addyson Benna Epperson; and also, Ethel "Cookie" Burch and Dr. Paul Campbell.
