It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Lee Green (Lyons, Georgia), who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Vernon Green; and his siblings, Freddie, Melvin, Lee, Nelson Green and Easter Simmons.
He is survived by: his daughter Raqual Green of Dublin, GA; his son-in-law David Cross of Dublin, GA; his stepson Michael Gooch of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, Takisha Green of Brunswick, GA, Devron of Alamo, GA and Terrence Green of Alamo, GA; and his siblings, Fannie Carswell (Joe) of Lumber City, GA, Samuel Green (Stephanie) of Alamo, GA, Eugene Green (Barbara) of Alamo, GA and James Green (Legia) of Alamo, GA. He is also survived by great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vincent R. Drummer Funeral Home (211 W Liberty Ave, Lyons, GA 30436). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at 1777 Sawmill Rd, Ailey, GA 30436.
