With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Linda Smiley of Lyons, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy; her grandson Micah Smiley; her parents, Arnie Edward Brannen and Letha Bell McMillan Brannen; and her siblings, James Wallace Brannen, George William Brannen, Barbara Ann Brannen Barrow and Mary Elizabeth Brannen.
She is survived by: her children, Jamie Smiley (April) of Reidsville, Cheryl Smiley Beasley (Kenneth) of Lyons and Gina Smiley Williamson (Michael) of Sparta; her grandchildren, Saralan Beasley of Buford, Cole Williamson (Julianna), Cody Williamson (Caleigh Avery), Ansley Smiley Folsom of Glennville and Bri Hodges of Reidsville; her great grandchildren, Braylee, Noah, Luke and Kaisleigh; and her siblings, Edward Brannen (Kathy) of Glennville, Eleise Brannen Godwin of Callahan and Joy Brannen Ellis (Jimmy).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Glennville City Cemetery.
