He was predeceased by: his parents, Lige Alvin "Preacher" Dixon and Sally Ann Thigpen Dixon; and his sisters, Margarette Dykes and Gwen Miller. He is survived by: his children, Gail Dixon and Lesley Dixon (Fonda) of Brunswick; his former wife June Outler Dixon of South Thompson; his granddaughter Amanda Daly; his great grandchild Brayla Daly; and his siblings, Jean Thompson of South Thompson, Ruth Hochstetler of Tarrytown, James Dixon (Wanda) of Carlinville and Allen Dixon (Kim) of Hickory. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
