We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2024, at the age of 67, Jimmy Wayne McGahee of Lyons, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jimmy had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Jimmy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olan Jackson McGahee and Lulu Lavette Hines McGahee; and his sister Audrey Faye McGahee Kight. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Sapp McGahee of New Branch; his sister Patricia McGahee Williams of Lyons; and his pet Radar. He is also survived by one niece, two nephews, several cousins.
