He was predeceased by: his parents, William Abram and Evalina Strawn. He is survived by: his wife Harriett Strawn of Lyons; and his children, Robin Carraway (Bill) of Monroe, Jay Strawn (Terri) of Lawrenceville and Michael Strawn (Deann) of Ludoici. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Anderson Underwood Funeral Home (2068 U. S. 19 BUS, Dahlonega, GA 30533). A masonic service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Community Helping Place Food Pantry, 1127 Hwy 52, Dahlonega, GA 30533, in his memory.
