It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ingrid Ratley Cooper of Lyons, Georgia, born in Lakeland, Florida, who passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stafford Ratley and Bernice Newsome Ratley; and her brother Shannon Ratley. She is survived by: her children, Eddie Lee Cooper Jr. of Lyons, GA, Charlie Cooper (Ilona) of Martinez, GA, John Cooper (Lisa) of Watertown, TN, Suzanna Cooper of Lyons, GA and Caroline Rhiner (Curtis) of Cobbtown, GA; her siblings, Mike Ratley (Valinda) of Biloxi, MS, David Ratley (Cheryl), Candace Smith and Gillette of Doraville, GA; her grandchildren, Ryan Kennedy, Caitlin Cooper, Lauren Kersey, Taylor Griffin, Julia Mann, Jody Spivey, Jared Cooper, Abby Cooper, Magda Cooper and Adam Cooper; and her great grandchildren, Evy Ray, Aria Kennedy and Walker Kersey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
