He is survived by: his wife Denise Harden Bacon; his children, Kristin Brantley (Chase), Bailey Bacon (Darrell), Beth Samples (Joseph), Becky Christian (Jonathan) and Ben Collins; his grandchildren, Gage, Kailen Brantley, Aaron, Ada Belle, Ava Claire Christian, Grace, John Paul Samples, Duke Mead and Raylan Collins; his sisters, Melanie Bacon and Renee Gaskins (Larry); his nieces and nephews, Lee Bacon and Amanda Singleton; and his pets, Bentley, Shadow and Duchess.
