He is survived by: his children, Rushing Tapley Stephens (Dirk) of Vidalia, Duston Tapley III of Lyons and Jay Tapley of Vidalia; his sister Dale Tapley Edwards; his grandchildren, Randi Colvin (Jake) of Vidalia, Ryan Brooks of Lyons, Denton Tapley, Carston Tapley of Lyons, Abigail Tapley and Emma Tapley of Vidalia; and his great grandchildren, Ryan Ireland, Riley Colvin and Jace Colvin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
