He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Thompson and Elizabeth Reynolds Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Bowen Thompson of Lyons; his daughter Beth Thompson of Washington, D. C.; his siblings, Buck Thompson (Bridgett) of Knoxville, Tennessee and Mary Thompson of Canton; and his cousin Carroll Edwards (Randy) of Little River. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
