She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father William Allen "Bill" Wheeler; her brothers, George Wheeler, Gregory Wheeler and Curtis Wheeler; her children, Melissa Bell (Ennis) of Baxley, Franklin Randall Kilgore (Marie) of Glenwood and William Hardwick Kilgore (Tammy) of Lyons; her mother Madelle Beckworth Wheeler of Vidalia; her siblings, Charles Wheeler, Wendell Wheeler of Vidalia, Jeanette Thurman of Jacksonville, Joyce Franke of Vidalia and Carol Cox of Soperton; and her close friend Gary Shene. She was also cherished by eighteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
