She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Brannan and Juanita Brannan; and her siblings, Fred, Norman, Mann, Robert Brannan, Nellie Dean Fish and Geneva Rountree.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Phelps (Amanda) of Ailey and Melina Collins (Darriel) of Lyons; and her brothers, William Brannan of Jacksonville and James Brannan of Swainsboro. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
