He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Benjamin Johnson, Sr. and Nannie Lou Ricks Johnson; his brother Larry Johnson; and his mother-in-law Nellie Williams. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Georgia Bulldogs and Reese Cups; his wife Wanda Williams Johnson; his daughter Nicole Johnson Burton (Jamie); his grandchildren, Madison, Reagan and Hailey; his siblings, Betty Jean King of Vidalia, Sarah Nell Whitaker of Vidalia, JoAnn Toole of Lyons, Margie Beasley (Craig) of Uvalda, Peggy Tomlin of Brunswick, Lynn Barefoot (Drake) of Salem, Karen Kilgore (David) of Lyons, Teresa Taylor (Toby) of Alma, Joann Clements (Dennis) of Vidalia, Robin Johnson (Michelle) of Oak Park and Johnny Johnson (Linda Kay) of Lyons; his father-in-law Twiggs Williams; his brothers-in-law, Stevie Williams, Marty Williams and Jimmy Williams (Jenette); and his close friends, Jim Dowd, Howard Farrow, Billy Mobley and Hugh Blissett.
