She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Bishop and Nellie Margaret Brady Pickle; her husband John Wesley Smith; her son Gary R. Smith; her granddaughter Elizabeth Smith; and her siblings, Lerlene Gilliland and Elmer Pickle.
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Smith Johnson; her granddaughter Paige Smith Pittard (Jason); her great grandchildren, Joel, Jacob and Sarah Pittard; her daughter-in-law Gwendolyn Carter Smith; and her brother Malcolm Pickle (Ramona). She is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
