Nellie Beatrice Taylor Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2020, at the age of 96, Nellie Beatrice Taylor of Lyerly, Georgia, born in Dutton, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lee McGriff and Ella Jane "Jennie" Shirey McGriff; her husband J. S. Taylor; and her grandson Lee Taylor Veatch. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Taylor (Ella Faye), Donny Taylor (Jamie), Brenda Cooper (Riley), Teresia Hall (David) and Beverly Veatch (Ricky); and her close friend Opal Deering. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The Taylor family along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C. D. C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
