It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hixey Brewer (Lyerly, Georgia), born in Ider, Alabama, who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman A. Jones and Stella Mae Bell Jones. She is survived by: her husband Thomas H. Brewer, Jr.; her daughters, Rebecca (Wesley Thomas) and Kathy (Larry Johnson); her stepdaughter Jeanne Smith; her son Jack; and her daughter-in-law Stephanie Brewer. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
