He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Wood and Ida Bonds Wood; his wife Cledia Jo Mason Wood; his sons, Timothy Wood and Dale Wood; and his siblings, Alma Patty, Naomi Mitchell and Arnold Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Brewster (Jason) and Charles "Chuck" Wood; and his brother Robert Wood. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
