He is survived by: his wife Adena Toney of Luthersville; his children, Samuel Toney, Jr. of Luthersville, Jeffery Toney and Elizabeth Toney of Luthersville; and his siblings, Ellen (James Brewer), Barbara (Raymond Grice) and Grady V. Toney of Franklin.
