It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara M Allmon of Lumpkin, Georgia, born in Cuthbert, Georgia, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Dunaway and Margaret Gallman Dunaway; her brothers, David Dunaway and Danny Dunaway; and her siblings-in-law, Page Tharp and Mary Allmon.
She is survived by: her husband Russell Allmon of Americus; her children, Sunshine Popwell of Naples and Nicholas Kuhlman of Lumpkin; her siblings, Harvey Dunaway, Jr. (Georgia) of Columbus and Patricia Tharp (Georgia) of Leesburg; her siblings-in-law, Alan Allmon (Georgia) of Americus and Sandra Dunaway (Georgia) of Lumpkin; and her grandchildren, Allison Popwell of Seattle and Bo Popwell of Thomasville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
