Raymond Kersey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Kersey of Lumber City, Georgia, born in Appling, Georgia, who passed away on November 18, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Easter Kersey and Willie Nora Mock Kersey; his stepfather Hugh M. Kersey; and his siblings, Thomas Edward Kersey, Monroe Pete Mock and Barbara Ann Ivey.

He is survived by: his children, Tanya Mosley (Greg Sheffield) of Baxley, Jessica Brooks (Daniel) of Maine, Angela Hall (Justin) of Hazlehurst and Elliot Kersey of Lumber City; his siblings, Betty Reagin of Hazlehurst, Faye Carter of Hazlehurst, Katheryn Kersey of Hazlehurst, Calvin Kersey of Baxley and Joe Kersey of Hazlehurst; the mothers of children, Sharon Ford and Shirley Varnadoe; and his grandchildren, Hunter Mosley, Michaela Mosley, Jared Brooks, Destiny Brooks, Joseph Brooks, Desiree Brooks and Many. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews & cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bank of Lumber City to offset his medical expenses.
