She was predeceased by: her husband Homer Tompkins; and her siblings, Ann Branch, Bonnie Tucker, Hilda Spires, Clyde Williams and Edward Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Jeannie Wood (Jack) of Hazlehurst and Vernon Tompkins (Sandi) of Glenwood; her siblings, Shirley Hand, Sara Haymons and Robert Williams; and her grandchild Richie Howard (Melissa). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
