He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Sheppard and Nellie Johnson Sheppard; his wife Clara Dianne Hulett; and his children, Jack Sheppard, Tony Sheppard and Tina Sheppard.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Dorcas Griffin of Roanoke Ala.
