He was predeceased by: his sisters, JoAnn Ramlo, Betty Crawford and Kathy Crawford. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Darice Varnadoe of Lumber City; his children, Shonda Smith of Alma, Sheyanne Partin and Shane Smith of Alma; his stepchildren, Meri Kinett (T. C.) and Lee Bunting (Summer); and his siblings, Virginia Metts, Sylvia Crawford, Shirley Hayward, Karen Swainger, Bobby Crawford, Ronald Crawford and David Crawford. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
