He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brown and Phyllis Stevens Whitehead; and his wife Gertrude Teel Brown. He is survived by: his daughter Cindy; his son-in-law Raymone Whelchel of Lula; his son Jeff Brown of Lula; his grandchildren, Kiaya Reddicks and Jada Whelchel; his sister-in-law Maryann Smith of Gainesville; and his niece Cher Singleton of Gainesville.
