It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Carter of Lula, Georgia, born in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on October 9, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Mundy and Ruby Mundy; and her son Scott Thomas Carter. She is survived by: her brother Thomas Mundy (Alice Ann); her children, Joyce Wilson (Stuart), Debbie Allison, Teresa Brewer (Dean), Rick Carter and Shawn Carter; and her grandchildren, Shane Whelchel (Jessica), Amanda Greavu (Sam), Autumn Brock (Jesse), Dustin Hudgins (Tiffany), Lindsey Gregory (Brian), Brad Pitts (Felicia), Chelsea Carter (Joe), Dakotah Allison (Katie), Victoria Carter and Michael Carter. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
