We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2019, at the age of 88, Lois Mooney Porter (Lula, Georgia), born in Ellijay, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Marvin Mooney; and her brothers, Leonard and Phillip Cochran. She is survived by: her husband Curtis Lamar Porter of Lula; her sons, David Mooney of Carnesville and Sammy Mooney of Auburn; and her sisters, Lessie Clayton of Buford, Della Oliver of Buford, Stella Tankersley of Crandle, GA and Veda Payne of Cumming. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
