He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Forrester and Lillie Forrester; and his siblings, Huel Forrester, Verden Forrester, Omazelle Carter and Mary Lynn Forrester.
He is survived by: his wife Claudette Holman Forrester; his children, Timothy Larry Forrester of Lula and Trena; his son-in-law Kenny Stroud of Hiawassee; his grandchildren, Joshua, Victoria, Zackary, Elizabeth, Madison Stroud (Bennett Fuzak), Jackson, Jacob, Morgan, Judson and Jonah Forrester; his siblings, Tex (Barbara Forrester), Jimmy (Rochelle Forrester), Emory (Joyce Forrester), Velva Tribble and Shelia Roberts; and his close friends, David, Angie McClure, Franklin, Peggy Grant, Richard and Kathleen Acrey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a drive-by visitation will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020, from 2:00-4:00 p. m. at the Skitts Mountain Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 9331 Skitts Mtn.
