He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sue Garrett Haley of Lula; his children, Preston Thomas of Lula and Taylor Thomas of Kentucky; his sisters, Deborah Henricks, Lisa Rogers of Kentucky, Belinda Staples (Frog) of Kentucky and Phyllis Harris (Steve) of Kentucky; and his son-in-law Bryan Williams of Flowery Branch.
